Below is the letter I just sent out to my representatives, I
request your assistance in trying to return the political future of America
into the local voters instead of allowing the national party to control
the local elections. Let's return the nation to a time in which all politics
were considered local.
Save Our State
Why is it that people from a foreign country cannot donate
to an American running for office? The answer is they have no business putting
their nose where it doesn't belong! The same is true in all races - unless one
is from a district in which one can legally vote they need to keep out of that
race physically and financially! No money should be allowed into that district
from anyone, weather it be from an individual or comapny, unless they reside in
that district, no exceptions. We need to keep our local politics local! There
is only one race that national funds should be spent in Oklahoma, the Presidential
election, and only then on that single candidate.
In this election, as in past
elections, both parties flooded districts with money donated from national
party funding (or PACS - Political Action Committees) to persuade voters to
elect officials , who can then use their office to promote national party
agenda beliefs. Some candidates who are looking to the next election or desired
office, want that support and money to help secure a victory in the future,
thereby voting with the party desire instead of holding true to the platform
they ran on and voters voted for.
Bottom line is: If one cannot vote for someone
they should not be allowed to aid that candidates election in any matter. I
request that you aid in modifying the Oklahoma
Constitution to adopt into law the restriction of any and all outside monies
being spent in any local election held in this state. I also require your
support bringing this matter before the US Senate and House of Representatives
to return all local elections to the individuals of that local disctrict and
only that district. I strongly request that you respond via e-mail or written
letter acknowledging receipt of this letter and also your intentions of support
or non-support.
